Escuela Cuzqueña de Pintura

The Escuela Cuzqueña de Pintura, or Cuzco School of Painting, flourished in the Spanish Viceroyalty of Peru during the 17th and 18th centuries, with Cuzco as its epicenter. This artistic movement emerged from the convergence of European Baroque painting techniques and indigenous Andean artistic traditions. Artists today draw inspiration from the unique blend of European and indigenous styles, vibrant color palettes, and symbolic richness characteristic of the Cuzco School.

Paintings are not stretched or framed unless marked otherwise.
